COVID-19 Procedures

Please note that this document is subject to change. As the CDC guidelines and the governor’s executive orders are updated, these guidelines will be updated accordingly.

RULES

  1. Employees must wear masks at all times. Masks are required for all students over the age of 11 and recommended for those under 11.
  2. Our lobbies are closed to parents, siblings, and other guests.
  3. Both water coolers have been removed from our lobbies. Please bring your own water to all activities.
  4. All clients must use hand sanitizer upon arrival at the studio.
  5. All clients and employees are expected to remain six feet apart when possible.
  6. No physical contact between instructors, employees, or clients. This includes high fives, handshakes, hugs, holding hands, etc.
  7. Avoid touching your nose, face, and eyes.
  8. All clients must sign a waiver indicating that they understand the risks associated with participating in any activities at Royal Grace or Pilates at Studio 8.
  9. Any employees or clients who have had contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days or who is experiencing any of the following symptoms must stay home.
    1. Cough
    2. Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    3. Fever
    4. Chills
    5. Muscle pain
    6. Sore throat
    7. New loss of taste or smell

DAILY PROCEDURES

  1. Clients and employees are required to wear masks and gloves at all times. While on the reformers, clients must wear grip socks. Clients may wear their own masks, however complimentary masks and gloves will be provided. If you do not have grip socks, they are available for purchase in the lobby.
  2. Students no longer need to sign in upon arrival. This will be taken care of by your instructor.
  3. We are functioning at half capacity with every other reformer taped off in order to promote social distancing.
  4. Clients must use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
  5. Each client must wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with warm water and soap after using the restroom. Single use paper towels will be available as opposed to reused cloth hand towels. After each class, an employee will clean and disinfect bathroom surfaces.
  6. We will not have water or towels available, so please bring these items from home if you wish to have them during your session.

CLEANING PROCEDURES

  • In between classes at Royal Grace, the teacher will wipe down all bars, doorknobs, dots, cubbies, and bathroom surfaces and another employee will fog the studio with Force of Nature Cleaner, an EPA registered disinfectant. For more information on this product, click here.
  • In between Pilates classes, the instructor will wipe down all reformers, doorknobs, bathroom surfaces and high contact surfaces with clorox wipes and another employee will fog the studio with Force of Nature Cleaner, an EPA registered disinfectant.   • The front desk employee will wipe down doors and common areas during classes.
  • At the end of each night, an employee will wipe down all surfaces with hydrogen peroxide wipes (door knobs, door handles, bars, desk, etc.) and each studio will be fogged with the Force of Nature Fogger.
  • There is a Dyson air purifier located in each studio that runs on auto at all times.
  • Each night, we run an Enerzen Advanced Portable Air Purification System. This machine cleans the air through a process called oxidation, which breaks down molecular structure and molecules such as bacteria and viruses. Each day before the studio opens, the doors will be left open to bring fresh air in.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Because of the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that cancellations may occur. We want to work with you to keep everyone safe and financially sound.

In order to receive your credit back for any canceled bookings, you must notify the studio of your cancellation more than 24 hours before the session. If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours, you will lose your credit.
